Important opinion on data processing in relation to Google Analytics
Google Analytics uses «cookies», text files stored on the computer of the visitor of the site, in order to analyze the use of the site by the latter. The information generated by the cookie (including the truncated IP address) on the use of the website is transmitted to and stored by Google.
Google Analytics is used exclusively with the extension "_anonymizeIp ()" on this site. The extension guarantees the anonymization of the IP address by truncation and therefore excludes any direct personal reference. With this extension, Google will truncate the IP address of the visitor to the site located in a Member State of the European Union or another signatory state to the European Economic Area agreement. The visitor’s full IP address is only transmitted to Google’s server and truncated in the US in exceptional circumstances. The IP address provided by the visitor’s web browser using Google Analytics will not be combined by Google with other Google data.
On behalf of Wix and the site operator, Google uses the information collected to evaluate the use of the site, compile reports on the site’s activity and to provide the site operator with other Internet services or in connection with the site (art. 6-1.f of the GDPR). The interest of data processing is justified by the optimization of the site, the analysis of its use and the adaptation of its content, allowed by the statistical function of Wix. The interest of users is duly protected by the pseudonymisation of their data.
Google LLC guarantees to maintain an adequate level of data protection in accordance with standard European contractual clauses. Data sent and linked to Google Analytics cookies, such as user ID and advertising ID, will be automatically deleted after 50 months. Data that have reached the retention deadline are automatically deleted once a month.
